This was an interesting take on mail order brides. Justin is a billionaire hotel and casino mogul in Las Vegas who came from poor beginnings. He worked for a stake in a poker game, won and invested well. He wants to be accepted by the old bluebloods because his is all new money. He contracts with a secret matchmaker to find him a bride with connections. Poor Hannah is left destitute when her wealthy parents and fiancé die in a plane crash, with no assets or insurance. All her life she was raised to run a rich household as she has no marketable skills. She hooks up with Justin, they are immediately married and she will be taken care of by him. She ends up helping his assistant plan a party for the elites, which it turns out she was good at. Does he really want to rub elbows with these snobby people who wouldn’t lift a finger to help Hannah? It was a short read but had a lot to say.

Pierre and Serafine were drawn to each other. He was a wolf shifter and knew she was his mate. She didn’t believe in the paranormal. Good story and the characters were portrayed extremely well. Very good short read!

This was such a good love story with all the ups and downs of life. It just goes to show that loves not all roses and sunshine, there’s fertilizer and rain too. But it’s worth it if you take the chance.
