Lorelei Confers’ DEADLY series expands with two releases in 2020 that packs a punch with strong men and the women who steal their hearts. 

 

The premise of the romantic suspense series is that there is life and love even after abduction. FBI agents, Special Agents on the Anti-Human Sex Trafficking task forces; some working together as partners, as they share messages of awareness across the country. The intense and ongoing research led to new tactics used by traffickers and a local agent interview added suggestions and multiple real-life examples. So much naivety among all people; ruthlessness and lack of empathy, as well as how much the “greed for money” drives such heinous and violent acts. Hence, seven additional stories to tell.

About Deadly Homecoming:

Madelyn (Maddy) returns home to arrange her mother’s funeral and has to face her biggest fear; her ex who broke her heart, but in oh so many more ways than one.

Garrett, her close childhood friend and FBI agent assigned to the human trafficking task force, gave his heart to her years ago and wants no other woman.

Does he have a second chance, or will her ex steal her from him again?

The Saddle Creek series:

This series is set in a small town, Saddle Creek, Wyoming. The town center is Rosie’s Diner which is a mom & pop 50’s like diner and the local hangout. The premise in the series is about four male friends since childhood grow up in the small town of Saddle Creek, WY, located in the shadows of the Grand Tetons Mountain range. They consider themselves brothers from another mother; share and help each other through the growing pains of adulting after high school and remain loyal to each other throughout; one goes to college, another buys the horse ranch he’s worked/lived on since a young age, one joins the military, and the fourth becomes the local Sheriff.

About the Author: 

Lorelei Confer lives on a peninsula in the mid-west coast of Florida with her high school sweetheart, now husband, and AJ, her longhaired Chihuahua.

In the fourth grade, she wrote her first story—something about getting a shot at the doctors—that was produced by the teacher for parents and students in an assembly. When she was older, she spilled her guts in a journal every night and wrote long newsy love letters to Viet Nam.

She is a multi-published author of romantic suspense with two series: The Deadly series and the Saddle Creek series, along with written numerous novellas and short stories.
