Welcome Kayelle Allen, Author of The Antonello Brothers: Immortal
Maddy, thank you for letting me come and share with your readers. It’s been fun getting to talk to you on Lorelei Confer’s Zoom book club. I hope we get to spend more time together.
I heard about Lorelei’s book club when she was a guest on my book blog, Romance Lives Forever. She invited me when her club first started, and I attended out of curiosity. By the second meeting I realized what a sincere blessing this group was going to be.
This wasn’t the usual “read a book” and talk about it book club. Instead, she asked authors questions about their process of writing, what they liked to do in their spare time and got them to talk about their characters and books. When author Kaci Rose visited, she brought her PA team, and by the end of the night, I was ready to hire them myself. I’m in the process of moving, so in addition to the fabulous PA I’ve had for over a year, I’m also putting that team to work as well.
Through relationships gained in this club, I’ve been accepted into a couple of anthologies. I’ve gotten ideas for stories, and I’ve made new friends. One of the best things, though, is that readers attend too. Several have signed up for my newsletter, read my books, and left reviews. I’ve gotten to know what their interests are, and a bit of their personalities. We have old and young from all over the world. As new authors visit, they bring their readers, and the group is growing. I invite people every week. Though not everyone comes, we do get a nice mix of people.
Working with other authors on things like a book club, or interviews like this one have helped me reach out to readers I wouldn’t have met otherwise. I write some amazing characters, and I’m always excited to introduce them to new readers.
I’m currently in the process of moving. By the time you post this, we should be in our new apartment. We’re going to be living in a retirement community. Even housekeeping is included, plus meals, a chance to exercise, and so much more. I can’t wait to get there. I write almost daily, and it will free up time for me not to have to do mundane things like cook and clean. I’m pinching myself at how awesome this could be. I intend to make the most of it.
I’ve jabbered on long enough. I’m sure your readers would like to know more about the new series I’ve written, and I would love to tell them.
The Antonello Brothers: Immortal
The Antonello Brothers: Immortal series is currently three books and three short stories, but will be expanding.
There are four main series in my story universe. Number one is Bringer of Chaos (Origin of Pietas and Forged in Fire) features the origin of the immortal race called the Sempervians, who are part of all the other series. Lights Out is the book readers get when they sign up for my newsletter. It’s the prequel for the series.
Two is the Antonello Brothers series, featuring Luc (an immortal) and the brothers Senth and Khyff, who are human. Books include A Stolen Heart, Bro, At the Mercy of Her Pleasure, and For Women Only. They establish the universe of mortals and the way immortals react within them.
Third, the Tales of the Chosen series covers three main characters in that same universe, but who are “chosen” to serve the immortals and know all their secrets. Those books are Wulf (permafree worldwide), plus Alitus and Jawk, both on preorder.
The fourth series is Antonello Brothers: Immortal — featuring the brothers but focusing on the immortals in the stories. Current books include Surrender Love, Ring of the Dragon, Forever Love, and the short stories (one free inside each book), Forbid My Heart, Just Desserts, and Leaving Tarth.
I just released Forever Love. The series has done super well on Amazon. It’s available in Kindle Unlimited.
I’m back to packing. My office looks a little bleak right now. There are boxes everywhere and anything I need is packed or should have been. I have a feeling you know exactly what I mean. Moves are not for the faint-of-heart, for sure.
